Sandhya Mridul Biography

Sandhya was born on 28 March 1975 in Mumbai to P. R. Mridul and Aruna Mridul. Sandhya’s family moved to New Delhi as her father P.R. Mridul was a lawyer and later a high court judge. She attended Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls’ Public School in Jaipur and later Mater Dei Convent School in New Delhi. She has two elder brothers Siddharth Mridul, a sitting judge of the Delhi High Court, and Pankaj Mridul. Sandhya was brought up by Siddharth after her father died at the age of 14.

Sandhya graduated in Mathematics from Lady Sriram College in Delhi and later did an MBA in marketing. She had worked as a marketing executive with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines in Mumbai before starting her acting career. Her acting debut was in DD National’s 1995 soap opera Swabhimaan directed by Mahesh Bhatt.
