Priyanshu Chatterjee was born on February 20, 1973. He is a popular actor and former model who is best known for his work in Bollywood and Bengali films. Priyanshu Chatterjee began his modelling career with projects such as Wills Cigarettes, Digjam’s Print Campaign, Levi’s and Four Square. Besides, the actor also appeared in a music video of Udit Narayan.
Priyanshu made his Bollywood debut in 2001 with the romantic drama film, Tum Bin, which was a big hit at the box office. After the success of his debut film, the director of the film, Anubhav Sinha decided to cast Priyanshu Chatterjee in his next film, Aapko Pehle Bhi Kahin Dekha Hai, in which actors like Sakshi Shivanand, Om Puri and Farida Jalal also worked. In the same year, Priyanshu acted in two more films; Dil Ka Rishta with former Miss World and Bollywood Diva Aishwarya Rai, and the other film in which he appeared was Pinjar, which starred Sandali Sinha. In 2004, Priyanshu appeared in two unsuccessful films; Woh and Madhoshi. In 2008, he got a small role in the multi-starrer horror film Bhoothnath, where he played the son of Bhoothnath, portrayed by megastar Amitabh Bachchan. In 2015, he was seen in a cameo in the film, Hate Story 3.
