The Bollywood film and television actor and stand-up comedian Kiku Sharda celebrated his 44th birthday this year on February 14. Sharda is best known for the character of Palak he played in Colors TV’s Indian sketch comedy and celebrity talk show, Comedy Nights with Kapil, hosted by Kapil Sharma.

Kiku Sharda was born on February 14, 1976, in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. He did his schooling from Don Bosco High School in Mumbai. He graduated with a Bachelors’ degree in Commerce from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics in Mumbai and a post-graduation with an MBA degree in Marketing from Chetana’s Institute of Management Studies and Research (CIMR), Mumbai.
Sharda made his debut in 2001 with the Punjabi film Mitti directed by Jatinder Mauhar with story, screenplay & dialogues by Jatinder himself. The film, which was produced by Kamalpreet Singh Bains & Rubina Baig, starred Mika Singh, Lakhwinder Singh Kandola, Vaquar Shaikh and Victor John. His debut in television was Star Plus’ 2003-2004 series Hatim directed by Amrit Sagar, based on the life of Hatim al-Tai.
