The popular Bollywood actor Akshaye Khanna celebrated his 45th Birthday on 28 March. Akshay who is the younger son of actor Vinod Khanna has received two Filmfare Awards. He attended the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute in Mumbai, before making his acting debut in 1997 with the film Himalay Putra.

Akshaye Khanna Biography

Akshaye Khanna was born 28 March 1975 in Jalandhar, Punjab to a Punjabi Hindu family from Peshawar. He is the younger son of Bollywood actor and politician Vinod Khanna who died in 2017. His mother was Geetanjali Taleyarkhan, a former model who died in 2018. He had a stepmother Kavita Khanna who was married to his father Vinod Khanna in 1990. Actor Rahul Khanna is his elder brother. He has a stepbrother Sakshi Khanna and a step-sister Shraddha Khanna.

Akshaye attended Lawrence School, in Lovedale, Tamil Nadu and graduated from HR College of Commerce and Economics in Mumbai. His acting debut was in the 1997 romantic drama film Himalay Putra directed by Pankaj Parashar.
