The superstar we know by the name of Ajay Devgn celebrated his 51st birthday on 2 April 2020.  He is an Indian film actor, director and producer who has appeared in over a hundred Bollywood films. Born on 2nd April 1969 as Vishal Veeru Devgan, Ajay Devgn was born in New Delhi, India to a Punjabi Family originally belonging to Amritsar, Punjab. His father Veeru Devgan was a stunt choreographer and action-film director and his mother, Veena, is a film producer. Devgn began his career in Bollywood cinema with Phool Aur Kaante in 1991 and won a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for his performance.

He has a successful career of over a hundred films which include hits like Jigar (1992) Sangram (1993),  Vijaypath (1994), Dilwale (1994), Suhaag (1994), Haqeeqat (1995), Naahayaz (1995), Diljale (1996) and Ishq (1997). He starred in Mahesh Bhatt’s drama Zakhm in 1998 and his performance in the movie won him his first-ever National Film Award for Best Actor.

He attended the Silver Beach High School in Mumbai and he graduated from Mithibai College, Mumbai.

On 24 February 1999, Ajay Devgn married Kajol, a famous Bollywood actress and Devgn’s co-star in Gundaraj after dating her for a few years in a traditional Maharashtrian Hindu ceremony at the Devgn home. Due to their contrasting personalities, the media called them “an unusual pair”. Prior to that, Devgn has been rumoured to have been in a relationship with Raveena Tandon and Karisma Kapoor.
