Bhatt was born on 15 March 1993 in Mumbai, India to film director Mahesh Bhatt and actress Soni Razdan. Her father is a Gujarati descent and her mother is a Kashmiri Pandit with German ancestry. She attended the Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai.
Bhatt is the paternal granddaughter of legendary film director Nanabhai Bhatt. She has an elder sister, writer-director Shaheen Bhatt and two half-siblings, actor-producer, Pooja Bhatt and actor-fitness trainer, Rahul Bhatt.
