Kader Khan was born on 22 October 1937. He was a popular Indian-Canadian film actor, comedian and director. He was also an extremely creative screenwriter for Hindi films from the 1970s to 1990s and wrote dialogues for several films.
The veteran actor worked in over 300 films in both Hindi and Urdu languages and wrote dialogue for over 250 Indian films. He worked with several Bollywood actors like Rajesh Khanna, Mithun Chakraborty, Amitabh Bachchan, Jeetendra, Feroz Khan, Anil Kapoor, Govinda and many others, and in films directed by David Dhawan, K. Raghavendra Rao, K. Bapaiah, Narayana Rao Dasari, etc.
Khan also worked in films with other comedians like Shakti Kapoor, Asrani and Johnny Lever. Besides, he co-starred with Prem Chopra, Amrish Puri and Anupam Kher in many films. The actor played different roles in the genre of films like comedy, romance, action, family, social and political.
Khan completed his graduation from Ismail Yusuf College affiliated to Bombay University. Before entering the film industry, he used to teach at M.H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering, Mumbai as a professor of Civil Engineering.

Even in the early 2000s, he attempted many different roles with films like Chalo Ishq Ladaaye, Akhiyon Se Goli Maare, Suno Sasurjee, Yeh Hai Jalwa and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.

Also, Kader Khan starred in his comedy television series ‘Hasna Mat’, which aired on Star Plus in 2001. He made a comeback on Indian television with another comedy series ‘Hi! Padosi… Kaun Hai Doshi?’ on Sahara One.
