Tanushree Dutta Biography
An Indian actress and model Tanushree Dutta turned 36 this year. She was born to father Tapan Dutta, an ex-employee of Life Insurance Corporation, and mother Shikha Dutta, a homemaker, on 19th March 1984 in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India. Her close aides call her Tanu. She belongs to a Bengali Hindu family and has a younger sister named Ishita Dutta who is also an actress. She did her early education from DBMS English School, Jamshedpur. She did her bachelor of commerce only for the first year and then gave up to run after her modelling career because of her inclination towards glamour world. She enjoys eating non-vegetarian food in which Bengali Fish curry is her favourite. She loves eating summer fruit mango. Her leisure interests include dancing and singing. She loves reading books of Dr Brian Weiss and Paulo Coelho. Her favourite stars are Meena Kumari, Madhuri Dixit, Aishwarya Rai and Sushmita Sen. Besides, she loves ice tea and coffee.

Tanushree instigated her professional career as an Executive in an Event Management Company and also contested in various local beauty pageants. Apart from Aashiq Banaya Aapne, none of her other films encompassing Raqeeb: Rivals in Love, Chocolate, Dhol, Risk, Good Boy, Bad Boy, and Speed could rejuvenate the success of her movie at the outset. After an outpour of breakdown, she withdrew from the Bollywood. Her last movie Jag Mundhra’s thriller Apartment was released in the year 2010. After this, she rose to a crescendo and took sabbatical for two and a half years.
She spent a very short span of her career in the cinematography and was portrayed in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu cinema between 2005-2010.

Currently, she is a resident and green card holder of the U.S. Her outlook was entirely reciprocated after returning from the U.S. to Mumbai and was seen wearing a blue shirt and black tights. She was indistinct. The actress was nervous and excited while on her way back to Mumbai and desired to go back to the U.S. soon.
Tanushree emerged as a news prodigy when she accused the veteran actor and her former co-star Nana Patekar for misbehaving with her during the rehearsal of her item song for the movie ‘Horn Ok Pleassss’ in 2008. She felt neurotic when she was pushed against the wall by Nana Patekar. Later in a statement, she revealed that she bowed out the film sets that moment and was bombarded on her car due to the frustration. She pointed out the political parties connections for this.
After 10 years of this incident, she blew up the incident and registered an FIR against the crew members of the movie ‘Horn Ok Pleassss’ highlighting ‘Nana Patekar’ on October 6, 2018. She also stood the director Vivek Agnihotri culprit for intimidating her during the shooting of the movie ‘Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets’ in 2005.
This physical assault case also grew up as a part of #Me Too campaign in India.
