Juhi Chawla Birthday Celebration
The leading actress lauds her birthday in many different ways over the years. She strolls down the memory lane to recall how she used to be very excited for the gifts she would get on her natal day. The actress shares some throwback memories of her birthday celebrations. She remembers the multicolored steamers and balloons in her house and how her brother used to blow them out with a pin. And, how after that they would get into a brawl. Juhi chortles and tells that she would never let anyone else open the door and welcome the guests and friends herself and receive the gifts excitedly. She would never wish for any book as a gift. There used to be a small heap of wrappers created in the room.
During her adolescence, she hosted day parties on her birthday but for giving it a darker look, she put up black curtains or black papers all over the window. They would all dance throughout the day to blaring music.
After giving a big blockbuster ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ in 1988, Juhi Chawla attained a big stardom. The entire industry had turned up on her big birthday bash. It had its own glamour but now she likes to celebrate this day with her close friends who come to visit her at her house.
Reminding a hilarious incident after her bombastic performance in Andaz Apna Apna in 1994, her co-star Aamir Khan visited her on her birthday and told her that he had got a present for her which got her super delighted. Aamir took out a special gift ‘chocolate’ for her. She giggled a lot after receiving that gift. This has been the fondest memory which is still embossed in her heart.
On her special day, Juhi loves to celebrate her birthday by giving back to the people who are in need. She feels that she has not done enough for the people. Like every year, she fed around 200 poor children and more on her birthday. She appeals to her fans and friends that instead of sending her presents or flowers, just plant trees to support her in the Cauvery Calling Project. She loves to celebrate her birthday in this manner.
