Hailing from Kapu community, he took birth in the house of Allu Aravind and Nirmala in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. His natal day falls on 8th April 1983. He is the son of film producer and the grandson of great Telugu comedy actor late Allu Rama Lingaiah. He has two brothers named Allu Sirish, who is an actor, and Allu Venkatesh.
